Prior to this exchange we had been discussing the Greek word gymnos, meaning "to be naked." Ancient Greeks did all their sporting activities nude, so this is where our modern words gymnastics ("activities to be done naked") and gymnasium ("place to be naked") come from.
The word cunnilingus derives from the Latin cunnus meaning "vulva" and lingere meaning "to lick". I imagine cunnus eventually evolved into our modern word "cunt".
After this, the girl next to me responded, "Well, of course. Who doesn't?"
